UnAmerika's Sweetheart Karin Webb:
Performing since birth, Directing since siblings, and Producing since her first sleepover.
Karin was born in Augusta, Maine and started professionally storytelling at the age of 11. She has a BFA in Acting from Boston University, and earned her certificate in "Physical and Ensemble-based Theater" from Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theater. She has toured nationally with the oldest non-profit puppet theater company in the country, Das Puppenspiel Puppet Theatre, spent years programming and performing at the Pan 9 collective in Boston, and created the multi-media 50-artist extravaganza series ART WhOReSHIP (1-3). In 2003 Karin performed in the two-woman play "Collected Stories" at Gloucester Stage Company which won an Elliot Norton Award for "Best Production by a Small Theater Company", and has performed original work in the Capitol Fringe Festival (Washington, DC). Karin co-owns, produces, and performs with the two Boston-based theater companies Axe To Ice Productions and All The Kings Men (ATKM). Soon you will be able to see her on the big screen in "Play in the Gray", a full length documentary coming out this winter. Alongside performing Karin is a dancer, puppet maker, artist, and writer.
